F.A.Q.'s

Q: How do I become a volunteer?

A: Learn more about becoming a volunteering here! Also be sure to check out the MFSCH Calendar, emails, or this page for volunteer opportunities. Questions or want to get involved sooner, email memorialfsch@gmail.com!

Q: How do I become a Freestyle Session Ice Monitor?

A:  Ice Monitors ensure skaters are checked into Freestyle Sessions on SkateToThePoint.com before taking the ice.

Ice Monitoring is a Rink role.  If you have any questions, please reach out to the Skating Director, Nicole Nichols, at nicole@skatememorialcity.com.

You can download them here.

You can also access the full version via your USFSA account at:

  1. Login to USFS Home | U.S. Figure Skating Member's Only.

  2. Click the hamburger in the upper left corner and select Account -> Member Profile.

  3. Select the "Memorial FSC of Houston" Tab.

Q: Where can I find the MFSCH Code of Conduct?

A: The MFSCH Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics can be found in your EntryEeze account. It is agreed to at membership/renewal.

Other policies including Ice Etiquette and Safety, and General Rules can also be found in EntryEeze and on the club website here.  The USFS Member Code of Conduct can be found on the USFS website Code of Conduct.pdf

Q: What are the benefits of a secondary Club Membership?

A: A secondary club membership enables a skater to:

  1. Receive club pricing on freestyle sessions

  2. Participate in club member opportunities such as Nutcracker and Holiday Exhibitions

  3. Attend club parties

  4. Participate in Series kick-off/send-off exhibitions if schedule/ice time permits.

Because skaters represent their home/primary club at competitions, home clubs provide gifts and club merchandise.  MFSCH club-branded gifts are reserved for home club members representing MFSCH.

Q: Where do I find the rulebook for US Figure Skating?
